Bombay to Bangkok

The movie Bombay to Bangkok is not so extraordinary when compared to kukunoor’s previous works like Iqbal,
Dor. But we can say that it’s different from the previous movie themes. As his previous movies is theme centric
and is based on common problems that are faced in the society. Even most of the movies of Kukunoor’s have
Shreyas in leading role but even shreyas performance falled in quality from his earlier works, and his fans are definitely
bound to be disappointed.
The movie is no rollicking ride though we should praise the Kukunoor’s for his direction he can not make as a
writer and that he proved with this story. The story of the movie is just dull and boring and repetitive dream sequence of
Shreyas really irritates the audiences. Due to such sequences the movie looks too long and it becomes tedious for
viewers to watch it. Climax was also arid and very few scenes in the movie are entertaining. Music of the movie is
another let down and the track ‘Same Same But Different’ is better from all the tracks. The only positive
thing in the movie is the showing the beauty of Thailand its food and culture. Finally we can say that Bombay to Bangkok
is a sore disappointment of Kukunoor’s direction.
