Yet again pavan has come up with jalsa a huge hit like kushi.Sanjay Sahu (Pavan Kalyan) is a college student, who
loves Indu (Kamalini), but her father refuses their love and Indu marries an NRI. After a few months Sanjay meets
Jotsna(Parvathi Melton) and Indu’s sister Bhagmathi (Ileana).Both love Sanjay but Bhagmati wins Sanjay’s
heart. The romantic twists and meetings continue in their own way. The interval scene introduces Sanjay as an ex naxal
and a factionist Damodar Reddy (Mukesh Rishi) wants to kill Sanjay because he thrashes his son.
Damodar stays in the jail, runs his all operations from the prison with the help of Srinu(Thanikela Bharani). Damodar
takes revenge by fixing marriage of his son with Bhagmati. In the climax as usual Bhagmati’s father pleads hero
to save his daughter and he saves. Hero makes Damoder realize his mistakes. Sanjay and Bhagmati stay happy.
Ileana has done a decent job while compared to her previous performances. Parvati Melton performed as a glam doll
whereas for Kamalini not much to do because her role is very small. Brahmanandam, Sunil and Dharmavarapu have
done their best with comedy.Prakash Raj is ok as father. Mukesh Rishi has done exellent job as a villain.
Devisri Prasad’s music is excellent. Except one or two all are catchy numbers. Pavan has not had a hit for long
time, jalsa gives him a good needed break.
