The same point can be presented myriad times to viewers without boring them. But if it is not presented attractively, sure
enough the audience will ignore it.Youngsters are always willing to die for their love, instead why don't they fight for their
love. These line forms the plot. Based on this story line, many movies have been made earlier. Similarly with a backdrop
of, heroine’s terminal illness (usually its heart problem), many films like Bheemaneni's 'Nee Thodu Kavali',
Brahmaji's 'Gana' was made earlier. Now, ‘Ekloveyudu’ casting Uday Kiran and Kruthi, in the direction of
KRK, Medikonda Amar Chand has produced the movie on Sri Venkataramana Film’s banner. The film was
released on 7th November. Here is a review on the pros and cons.StoryAn unemployed graduate Karthik (Uday Kiran)
and his struggles in life is the basic plot. Because of unemployment, he undergoes hardships in his home and society.
His father Chalapathi Rao borrows a loan of ten lakhs for an urgent requirement. In return, he mortgages their house to
the person who lends the money. Unaware of this transaction, on a fateful day Karthik gets into a tussle between the
lender’s son and beats him in a fit of rage.Enraged by Karthik’s moves, the person demands an immediate
payback for his money. If not he threatens to auction their house which was pledged. This adds up to Karthik's ill-fate
and his father starts to hate him more than ever.Karthik loses hope and in desperation to end his life floors on a railway
track. A man observing Karthik’s motive nears him and offers any random amount. As a favor, he says that
Karthik should end his life at the time the man tells him to. He then hands over the 10 lakhs to now rejuvenated
Karthik. With the money obtained, Karthik clears the loan on the house. He then lies to his parents that he is off to
Mumbai in search of a job, but heads to Ooty actually. There he meets Chandu ('Chitram' Seenu) and Babi (Vijay Sai).
He also meets Indu (Kruthi) at the same place. Indu falls in love with him, but Karthik pretends to be ignorant although he
loves her too.Why Karthik did not reveal his love for Indu? Who is the person who offered 10 lakhs to Karthik? Did
Karthik finally told Indu about his love? Actually who is this Indu residing in Ooty? What is her story? What did Karthik do
for his love? All these have to be watched on screen.Performance of Artists‘Ekloveyudu’ promotes an
impression that Uday Kiran had evolved from his lover boy image to an action hero from this movie. The first half portrays
him as a lover boy and a drastic change in the second features him as a full fledged action hero.Although, Kruthi makes
her debut in Telugu, her acting skills are good. Padding material is her glamour that adds attraction to the film.Bob
Anthony, who appeared as a villain in 'Pasivadi Pranam' after a long gap, is seen in this film in the character of Bhaktha
as the heroine’s father. He has emoted plausibly in his positive role.'Chitram' Seenu, Vijay Sai (friends),
Chalapathi Rao, Sudha (parents), 'Ahuthi' Prasad, RamaRaju, Master Bharath, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, did well
within the roles allotted to them.Technicians WorkThe crew has contributed well for the movie. Music by Anil Krishna and
cinematography by Rameshkrishna are fine. Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh is crisp and neat. Anil’s songs are
average. Dialogues by 'Rakhi' Radhakrishna and stunt scenes composed by Ganesh are also futile
efforts.Director’s PortrayalDirector K.R.K. delineated the story line well, although this is his first venture as
director. No story is left out in filmmaking as most of the stories have been made. It is the way that a story is told makes it
new. However, the director was unable to present this very old story in a captivating manner.ConsA number of cons bring
down the movie to a lower level of quality. The story lacks freshness and the first half is boring that leads to frequent
displeasure. A badly juxtaposed element is, the hero who is trying to unite his friend with the heroine at first takes a turn
and blabbers that she is his love and life. The sequence is completely absurd and does a bad task of convincing the
spectators.A scene that tests the patience level is from the first half, where the heroine is seen amongst a group of
lovers. It literally irritates everyone. The role played by Bob Anthony, might have been portrayed better if Prakash Raj
had been opted out.CriticismThe theme that has been said umpteen times is one should face hardships and live. Ending
their life is not the right take. Yet on the same line of story, films like 'Nee Thodu Kavali', 'Gana' and 'Konchem Touchlo
Vunte Chebutha' had been made successful with their way of presentation. But 'Ekloveyudu' on the same track lacks
freshness in presentation, and seems to have failed in garnering the attention of the audience. A bad start for the maker
yet if he looks into his errors, his next might be a hit in the future.Rating: 2/5
